I came across this article about an American couple who adopted a boy from Chung Yi. I'm not sure why it made the China Post news--I suppose it is just a human interest story?

Hi Amber - thanks for posting this article. I wonder, too, whenever I see adoption stories in the news in Taiwan, what makes it a news event? My personal theory - adoption is still a "foreign" thought to many in Taiwan, despite efforts to change the negative stigma. It's been exciting to see so many articles recently. . .I wonder if that would encourage families in Taiwan to adopt domestically?
