Chris and I are vegetarians, so I have been doing some research on vegetarian restaurants in Taiwan. I have been very pleased with what I've found! Taiwan (Taipei in particular) appears to be very vegetarian-friendly. Sometimes it is difficult to understand their websites (many are only in Chinese), but if you're interested, check out some of the links below:

If you do a google search for the url of the website you're looking at there will be a 'translate this page' link to the right.
Google will automatically run the whole thing through a computer translator, which, of course, produces less than ideal results, but is better than nothing.
